You have learned about Shakespeare and his plays. He lived over four hundred years ago.
So in our article today, we will give you a quick revision about the Infinitives But with a simple addition.

It is the script from one of Shakespeare’s characters who said it when he was trying to make a decision.





  • Second : Why an infinitive is the simplest form of a verb.


Infinitive verbs follow the word to.
These expressions are infinitives: 
to be, to post, to like.

Why do people go to the movies today?

Why did people in Shakespeare’s time go to his plays?

When you explain the reason for something, you can use infinitives.
